Education
The CANEUS organization has an important role to play in fostering the coordinated MNT investment/development strategy. In addition to the biennial conferences, CANEUS sponsors regularly scheduled technical and programmatic meetings as needed, in order to enhance the knowledge base of the stake holders by rapidly highlighting new and exciting technical developments, making participants aware of success stories as well as lessons learned from failures.
CANEUS also actively strives to keep the appropriate international governmental agencies engaged in the enterprise. CANEUS fosters information exchange using the traditional mechanisms of conferences, workshops and technical publications.
CANEUS have an important role in furthering MNT education in member countries, not only to keep the existing skill set at the cutting edge but also for the development of a well-trained future workforce.
CANEUS Educational Activities
CANEUS educational activities include:
- Short courses and Training programs offered through website, at Members in-house facilities and /or Member’s chosen locations
- Topical Seminars, and
- Summer hands-on school programs that provide scientists, researchers and practitioners with the state-of-the-art continuing education on MNT research and developments for aerospace applications.
CANEUS is also proud to partner with several educational institutions, a unique educational program to give budding scientists and engineers a head start while still in high school.
