Years of Impact
Since 2000 CANEUS International is a pioneering global organization established in 2000 through the collaborative efforts of leading institutions including NASA, DARPA, ESA, NRCC, CNES, JAXA, Boeing, EADS, Airbus, Dassault, and Lockheed Martin.
It was the world’s first international platform to create a trusted ecosystem where technology developers, end-users, policymakers, and investors converge to bridge the critical Mid-TRL “Valley of Death” in emerging technology transitions.
CANEUS unites industry, research organizations, centres of excellence, and mission stakeholders to validate, integrate, and scale next-generation systems with real-world impact.
Planned Global Impact: 5 & 10-Year Strategic Roadmap
CANEUS is advancing a forward-looking, measurable roadmap to strengthen global aerospace and deep-technology ecosystems through talent development, innovation acceleration, and market-driven commercialisation.
Over the next five years, CANEUS commits to mobilising a minimum of USD 500 million in innovation investment, training 10,000+ professionals, and enabling the creation of 10,000 direct and over 200,000 indirect high-technology jobs across aeronautics, space, defence, energy, and transport sectors. Over a ten-year horizon, these efforts are projected to contribute USD 10+ billion to national GDP through innovation-led growth.
This roadmap reflects CANEUS’ role as a global enabler of mid-TRL technologies, industrial partnerships, and policy-aligned innovation frameworks.
Projects & Collaborations
CANEUS projects and collaborations serve as the execution engine of its strategic roadmap, translating planned impact into real-world outcomes. Through industry-led consortia, Innovation Acceleration Units, and co-development programs, CANEUS enables partners to mature mid-TRL technologies, validate systems, and accelerate commercialisation.
Collaborative initiatives span aerospace platforms, space systems, advanced mobility, energy systems, and dual-use technologies, bringing together OEMs, MSMEs, startups, research institutions, and government stakeholders. These projects are designed to advance technology readiness, enable certification pathways, and create scalable market opportunities aligned with national and global priorities.
Events and Programmes
CANEUS delivers high-impact events and programmes that bring together industry, government, academia, and end users to accelerate innovation and technology transition.
These include global conferences, technical workshops, executive and professional training programmes, innovation bootcamps, and policy dialogues focused on aerospace and deep-technology domains. Flagship forums and curated programmes provide platforms for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and showcasing mid-TRL technologies to industry leaders, investors, and policymakers.
Through its events and programmes, CANEUS strengthens global networks, aligns stakeholders around real-world needs, and supports the journey from innovation to deployment.
Partnerships
CANEUS provides organizational leadership, coordination, and technical expertise to enable collaboration among its partners on high-risk, high-cost mid-TRL (MNT) projects and initiatives. Acting as a neutral innovation platform, CANEUS creates an efficient development pipeline by organizing supply-chain-oriented partnerships and supporting intellectual property brokering critical to project success.
CANEUS establishes a trusted innovation environment where confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and intellectual capital value are addressed upfront, allowing partners to collaborate openly within clearly defined frameworks.
While CANEUS provides the structure and coordination, partners actively contribute technical expertise, human resources, and project funding. Participation requires execution of a Partnership Agreement, payment of annual dues, and engagement in projects that advance both CANEUS objectives and the partner’s strategic interests.
All projects follow approved work plans and governance processes, with oversight by CANEUS committees and final approval by the Project Review Committee under the direction of the Board of Directors.
