CANEUS partners with NASA Ames Research Center for the Small Spacecraft Industry Day

 
     
 

CANEUS is pleased to partner with the NASA Ames Research Center for the Small Spacecraft Industry Day to be held at NASA Ames on June 27th, 2007. NASA seeks to develop technologies that reduce the expense and lead-time for civil and commercial space missions, which is synergistic with the goals of the CANEUS Small Satellite Working group.

Objectives:

The focus of this Industry Day is to highlight opportunities for partnering with NASA. This half-day event will focus on overviews of NASA' Small Spacecraft Initiatives,  and area such as System Engineering and Integration, Small Spacecraft Avionics, Attitude Control and Propulsion Systems, Innovative Ground and Small Spacecraft Operations, and Autonomous Software, Algorithms and Data Management.

  MESSENGER spacecraft mission to Mercury  
 

Dear Colleagues,

As a member of the NASA Cassini-Huygens Mission to Saturn, SOC, I am pleased to share with you exciting developments with the MESSENGER spacecraft mission to Mercury. Late afternoon on Tuesday, June 5th, MESSENGER will fly within about 210 miles (340 kilometers) of the surface of the planet Venus, and get a gravity kick toward its ultimate destination, the sun-baked planet Mercury..
