  • 58 Countries Nominate Delegates to the CANEUS Shared Small Satellites Initiative Representatives from more than 80 countries and international organizations worldwide are expected to meet in Tuscany, Italy for three days from October 20 to 22, 2010, to create a concept for space-based communications infrastructure owned and operated by a multi-national cooperative. To-date, 58 countries representing the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia regions have confirmed their participation by nominating delegates to this global initiative, and the number continues to increase weekly as more countries, particularly those from the developing world recognize the advantages of a shared space-based satellite program.   • US European Command, European Defence Agency, European Commission, NASA and ESA to Present Their Innovative Technology Needs Europe’s key civilian and defence decision makers will meet at the ESTEC-ESA Center in Noordwijk, The Netherlands to address their end-user needs and assessments on September 16th and 17th. Powerhouse innovators including NASA Ames, MANBAS ALPHA, Upsala University, IMEC and University of Twente among others will try to match these needs with state-of-the-art technology concepts.   • CANEUS Fly-By-Wireless 2010 Workshop Delivers 7 New Mid-term Projects and a Forward Thinking Framework The now completed CANEUS 2010 Fly-by-Wireless Workshop has identified eight key projects to be implemented within a 24 month timeframe. Leaders from among the world’s top aerospace authorities have been identified and project implementation plans have been put in place. Furthermore, four wireless projects from the 2009 Fly-by-Wireless Workshop in Montreal continue to move forward and have gathered further support here in Maine. Read more >>
  • CANEUS-Shared Small Satellites CSSP International Workshop: Financial Support for Delegates from Developing Countries The Workshop Committee will award a limited number of grants to help defray the expenses of delegates from developing countries who are scheduled speakers or provide a poster presentation at the conference.
